Type for `beforeShow` event of `sap.m.NavContainerChild` pseudo interface

Hello and sorry for using this as a support forum.

How does one type the beforeShow sap.m.NavContainerChild event?

In the docs it is described as interface event but all samples show it being used only as a pseudo event using the addEventDelegate API.

Wrt. pseudo events: does a better way to type them out exist? JQuery.Event is not generic and I see only type casting as a way out.
